Joy in Health Joy in Health (JiH) is a Community interest Company based in Leicester, United Kingdom. Our health is one of the most important aspects of our lives.

We are committed to creating awareness about better health and health care for all, mostly Black and Asian Minority Ethnic Communities in the UK. Yet it is also one of the most neglected. Nowadays, people are more concerned about their jobs and their commitments that they end up pushing their health aside. How we treat our environment, that can also contribute to the state of our health and well being. As a result, JOY in HEALTH embarked in a mission of sensitising the public through workshops, sports activities, teachings about our well being. Hence prioritizing your health is important because healthy people tend to be happier and tend to achieve more things every day.

A recent study found that walnuts helped improve the gut bacteria, made the body respond better to insulin (which controls blood sugar), and reduced gut leakiness in adults with obesity.

In short walnuts can support better digestion and help manage weight and blood sugar. Just one small change can make a big difference! 💪🌰
