Here's an easy to follow Sleep Reset Mini Routine allowing you to Wind Down Tonight in 3 simple Steps:

1️⃣ Dim lights and put your phone on night mode 1 hour before bed
2️⃣ Breathe in for 4, hold for 7, out for 8 and repeat 4 times
3️⃣ Whisper to yourself, “It’s safe to rest now.”

Small rituals teach your brain it’s time to switch off.

Anxious thoughts come and go, but they don’t define you.
Like clouds, they drift in, change shape, and eventually pass.

✅ Name what’s happening (“I’m noticing anxiety, not becoming it”)
✅ Refocus on something steady - the feeling of your feet on the floor, your breath, a sound around you.

I urge the NHS to stop promoting va**ng as a way to quit smoking. It is not a healthier alternative to smoking ci******es, it is just an alternative.

The dangers of va**ng are becoming well researched now and as a hypnotherapist who has helped dozens of clients give up smoking and va**ng, I can assure you it is even harder to give up va**ng than it is smoking!

Oh isn't it interesting that the NHS is funded by the UK government; what's more interesting is that in October 2026 vapes will be subject to tax in the UK. The rest I will say in my session when I help you quit for good!

Please do get in touch if I can help you to stop smoking or stop va**ng. Your lungs will thank you.

We had an incredible time at the Oadby motor festival today. It was a great opportunity to meet the local community and many others who had come from far away to see classic and rare cars.

Of course we were speaking to people about hypnosis, mental wellbeing and letting the public know about Reset my Mind.

It's amazing what conversations you can have with strangers who are so excited to know that help is available.

From chronic pain to insomnia to over active bladder to smoking....the conversations were endless!

We'll be there on The Oadby Parade again on 30th August for the food festival. Do pop along and say hello 👋.

A Special Update from Reset my Mind

I'm really pleased to share that my wife, Dee Jain, has joined Reset my Mind as a therapist.

Dee is an experienced hypnotherapist with a focus on women’s mental health, including burnout from corporate life, motherhood, and the challenges of the menopause transition. She also supports women recovering from narcissistic abuse — helping them rebuild a sense of self, trust, and emotional safety after difficult and often unseen experiences.

Dee’s approach is thoughtful and compassionate, and I know many of our clients will benefit from the depth she brings to this work.
