New client, very foot conscious, because of bunions, 'odd looking feet' as she called them!
Now, I confess, I was a little TOO eager to get started on these beauties, and I forgot the left foot before and after...but this is the right foot, so you'll just have to imagine the rest!

The patients remit? Make me sandals ready!!!

This is the brand of shoe I always recommend for folk suffering from Plantar Faciitis or swollen feet. They also do great wide fitting shoes.
Take a look, and their return policy is second to none. Very good customer service too, but online only, no shops.

PROSTHETIC NAIL SEASON!

My lovely lady has a very damaged nail, that grows deformed and will never grow back properly. On this occasion, she had also had an unfortunate OUCH situation, and there was bruising and blood deposit in the natural nail matter, that you can see in the thinned out photos.

This hard gel solution, by LCN Wilde Pedique, provides a long lasting, satisfying solution to unsightly, unhappy nails.
This one was done in a natural beige colour, but the gel can be mixed to replicate your own nail bed colour.
The nail is treated in the same way as your own, paint it as normal!

Ideal for special occasions, holiday feet, sandals that you've always wanted to wear...or just because you want to feel better about a nail you don't like.

Two clients today, both with different problems, both agreed to pictures being used.

First lady, (Pictures 1 to 3inc)...had visited her diabetic specialist nurse. Nurse told lady it was an ingrown toe nail causing swelling, throbbing, redness and weeping. Sadly, this had been misdiagnosed, and my client had an infection in the nail fold, otherwise known as Paronchyia. Patients' right hallux toe was 20°c, left hallux toe was 32°c. Eye opening reality...the patient is also diabetic, which is a huge red flag, and a missed infection could have cost her dearly. Patients relative rang their GP whilst in clinic with me and relayed the need for antibiotics ASAP. I'm now awaiting an update.

Long standing involuted 'tube' nails. Unknown cause in this case, possibly familial. Long history of them being like it.
Trimmed back and thinned...much more comfortable!!

This has popped up today, it's a message that tells me my business account is in line to be deleted, as it infringes certain FB rules...it's also stating that I've been advised on several occasions to take my page down...me thinks this is a scam, I've heard nothing.

Recent work...always interesting!

This is a build up of hard skin under a bony prominence, on an aged 'flat' foot, the brown area is blood from underlying skin relenting to pressure of walking, footwear etc.

Took only 10mins to reduce to lovely, smooth, normal looking skin...(permission for use of photo granted.)

This callusing will return, as it's a result of pressure in this particular case, but it's easily reduced and with regular treatment, this lady is going to remain pain free!
