Remember your loved ones this Mother’s Day.

From 02 March - 16 March we’ll be posting remembrance candles as a special token to those who can’t be with us this Mother’s Day.

As part of our latest Light a Candle campaign, we’ve shared virtual memorial candles to help honour loved ones around the Christmas period. Thank you to everyone who created a memorial candle.

CONGRATULATIONS to our very own Caroline, who has today been awarded her Certificate in Funeral Practice from the Funeral Directors College!!

Caroline joined us March 2024 to primarily look after our Headstone and Memorial sales, very quickly settling in as part of the family, she was soon getting more and more involved in the other day to day roles within the company. She soon asked to embark on some professional qualifications and then there was no stopping her, completing all four modules to a high standard, this is the result of that hard work!

We look forward to seeing what 2026 brings for her! We’re sure she’s itching to do some more studying!

WELL DONE from everyone here at Anstey & District, we are exceptionally proud of how you have settled in and developed the role that you have!!!

Caroline having achieved her Certificate in Funeral Practice now means we have four members of staff who are professionally qualified by external exam bodies, making us one of a handful of funeral directors in the local area that can say they are truly qualified!

As the year draws to a close, it’s common to think of the people who are special to us – especially those we've lost. That’s why we’ve chosen to take part in Light a Candle.
