Long time no post. Slowly recovering from cancer and chemo and getting back to life and work.
I am looking for another Podiatry / chiropody assistant.
The work will entail mainly providing toenail care and basic footcare (medical) in patients homes, nursing and residential homes right across Leicestershire.
There may be some clinic based work and possible assisting in nail surgery and more.
Full in house training will be given (unpaid) and you will work under delegation and supervision of my self as the qualified podiatrist.
Initially I feel we need around 16 hours or so a week but that could increase. You can organise your visits to suit you in the main, as long as it fits with the patients. So you could do 2 right hour days or 4 days of 4 hours or anything in between.
A medical or caring background would be good but not essential but you do need to be caring and outgoing and work well with particular with the elderly. You do need to be able to use a computer as we are fully electronic with regards patient records etc. full training will be given. You must be a car driver and owner to be able to do your visits.
Pay is currently £13 per hour.
