We love to hear stories where our training really has made a difference & saved lives!!!

For a number of years, we have provided First Aid training to the Run Leaders of Stamford Striders Running Club. Although they hoped that they'd only need to treat the odd sprained ankle whilst running, two runners from the group have needed CPR in a short period of time.

The good news is, due to the quick actions of those around them, both have made full recoveries.

Would you know what to do? If not, in the short term, reach out and we can send you a video showing CPR for adults, children, and babies, but long term, jump onto a course, you never know when and for whom these life saving skills might be needed.

If you have any questions, we will be happy to help you.

A man who suffered a sudden cardiac arrest is ‘eternally grateful’ to the people who saved him using CPR learned during first aid training.

A little shout out to a ''beautiful'' pub company that we work with that always sets the very highest standards in everything that they do.
Yesterday, one of our brilliant trainers went out to teach First Aid to the staff of The Beautiful Pubs Collective in Leicester.
We've loved working with these guys for a number of years now. We are so impressed by their high standards, both front of house (customer facing) and back of house.
If you've ever been to any of their pubs / restaurants in Leicester and Glenfield, you'll know exactly what we mean. If you haven't ever been to any of their places and you're around Leicester, do make the effort to try for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

We recently had the privilege of working with one of our brand new clients, and what surroundings they were!

If you've never been to Staunton Harold Hall & Estate on the Leicestershire / Derbyshire border, its well worth a visit.

A beautiful house surrounded by stunning grounds, its own church and lake, holiday lets, serviced office, tea room and garden centre, it really is stunning.

We went along to help their wedding / events team and their serviced office staff ( Lion Court ) with Fire Marshal training with live fire practical and followed this with some great Evac Mat training to aid evacuation. The staff really are prepared to prevent and protect from fire.

Why not check them out at https://www.stauntonharoldestate.co.uk/

‘Unsurpassed in the country, at least as far as Englishness is concerned’ This was Nicholas Pevsner’s assessment in his Buildings of England as he looked down on the grouping of hall, church and lakes in its quiet valley. The estate is family owned and managed, its many walks and cycle routes ...

Firstly, we apologise!!!

We have been a little quiet on LinkedIn at the start of 2025, we promise we'll be back to sharing the some great insight and life saving tips going forward!

Our year has started at a pace..

We began with 10 staff out at 3 of our regular schools in one day to facilitate all of their staff for First Aid as part of their inset day.

We've carried out Fire Courses, Manual Handling, First Aid & Mental Health First Aid courses and Fire Risk Assessments up and down the country.

Many of our brilliant clients have been very organised and booked in their training for the rest of the year.

We've begun working with some brilliant new clients and got some very exciting clients in the final planning phases to begin working together.

We look forward to a year of offering more brilliant training and services to some great companies, looking to keep their staff safe.

We want to work with some more brilliant companies, so if you're company wants the best training and services available, delivered by our fantastic & highly skilled staff, let's have a chat.

Happy New Year to you all, we hope that it's a great one for you.

🔥 Would you know how to get out of your home?

It sounds a simple question right, but what if there was a fire?

Would everyone in your household know 'The Plan'? From experience in training thousands of people nationwide in Fire Safety, most people have a plan of how to get out of their business premises, but not their home!

Far more people get hurt (or worse) in the home from fire, so why wouldn't you have a plan?

A short video to get you thinking about making an escape plan at home. You would do it at work, so why not at home with those most precious to you.

🔥 Smoke Alarms, are you really safe? 🚒

In this short video, we discuss the placing of smoke alarms to best protect you and your family.

The advice of the Fire Service is one on each floor of your house, usually in the hallway, but we'd love to share with you a different way of thinking.

In this Video, we will help you by explaining the use of smoke alarms in the house and how they improve safety around the household

❄️ Road Safety in Snow & Ice 🚗

So today is the start of 'disruptive' weather conditions for many parts of the country.

If you need to drive, our infographic gives some advice on things to consider before and during any trip.

You probably know most of the tips we've mentioned but how many do you actually practice?

Stay Safe.

We were delighted to be approached today by a Fire Safety Lead at Southampton City Council who'd seen a video that we'd shared yesterday and asked permission to use the video on their Fire Safety Website.

We will always be open to discussions for organisations to utilise our videos that we've made to spread our safety message to more people. If your organisation would like to use our videos (there are plenty more in the pipeline), please feel free to get in touch and we will likely give permissions as we have done to SCC today. We look forward to hearing from you.

Did you know that is Electrical Fire Safety Week this week?

A major cause of fires in the workplace and home is Overloaded Electrics. Please take a couple of moments to watch this video, we find that most people are making these simple mistakes in their workplace and offices.

And that's a wrap from yesterday's Leicester Business Show, part of the Leicester Business Festival.

Lots of new contacts made by Scott Mathie, Kimberley Branson TechIOSH and Isaac Walsh.

We definitely had some talking pieces on our stand with realistic wounds and information about our brilliant services that many people stopped to talk to us about. People really do love the realism of our training.

Many thanks to the Holiday Inn Wigston for hosting the event and events for organising and bringing everything together. And for allowing Scott to give a talk on how Mental Health affects business and its employees, this is something that we are very passionate about. There were some great stories shared by those who attended.
