Founded in 2014 Woodleigh Healthcare Limited is a specialist Care Quality Commission registered provider for Personal Care organisation providing supported living for vulnerable adults with mental health needs, challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and individuals recovering from substance/alcohol misuse and other complex needs. we have a 24hr service available 7 days a week at our offices in Leicester and Surrey. We provide continuous and extensive training to keep our staff to date with Care Certificate Act 2014 requirements such as safe guarding adults. As health care providers we are always looking for ways to improve services and ensure both client and staff member needs are met. We continuously look forward to exceeding the standards of CQC and be one of the best care service providers in UK and beyond.

Woodleigh Healthcare Childrens' Services
We are pleased to be opening our first residential home for children and young people in the Leicester area. Those placed with us will be diagnosed with Intellectual Disabilities/Autism, they may have communication difficulties, present some behaviours that challenge and may require personal care. Our first home is for two young people with a further expansion later in the year. Our aim is to make a difference in the lives of the young people and their families. The role includes both day to day practical work with the young people, running the house and administrative tasks. Due to the needs of those placed with us good communication skills are essential.
We are seeking experienced staff, qualified preferred, however for those new to residential work will expect completion of their qualification within two years of starting.
The role is based around shift work including sleep ins and includes weekend working and bank holidays in a fair distribution across the team. Waking night staff are also being recruited.
Rates of pay
Unqualified £10.50 per hour.
Qualified £12.25 per hour
Waking Night £12.25 per hour
After the successful completion of the 6-month probationary period hourly pay increases by 50p per hour.

We are looking for an experienced Ofsted Children's Home Registered Manager (We also accept anyone working towards their Level 5 as long as they have experience of managing a children's home) to help register and run a brand new 2 bedroom home in Enderby (Leicestershire). The candidate must have exceptionally high standards and will ensure the home meets the standards set by the regulatory body whilst also providing the highest quality of care and support to the children and young people in our care.

Key skills / experience:
• Level 3 Diploma/NVQ (Or equivalent) in Children and Young People Workforce (Required)
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare / Level 5 Diploma for Leadership & Management for Health and Social Care for Children and Young People’s Services or equivalent (essential).
• Demonstrable management experience within a children's home either at Home Manager or Deputy Manager level (minimum 2 years).
• Experience in a management position and undergone an Ofsted inspection with an excellent understanding of relevant legislation and compliance (achieving either "Good" or "Outstanding" gradings).
• Excellent ability in developing colleague's skills in direct work with young people.
• Competent IT skills
• Exceptional communication skills
• Previous experience of managing rotas and budgets.
• Full driving licence.

Requirements of a Registered Children’s Home Manager include:
• Managing the home efficiently and effectively to produce best outcomes for the young people in your care.
• Providing practical leadership in childcare, as well as organising and supporting staff to provide the best possible care for each child and young person.
• Ensuring the staff team understand their job roles and responsibilities and their accountability, and that staff feel supported by the management, and feel valued.
• Developing and sustaining effective working relationships with the local community, colleagues, and other agencies to promote collaborative working and partnerships.
• Full compliance with the homes Statement of Purpose and be responsible for ensuring this document is kept up to date.

Job requirements:
• Must have experience of working in a Children's Home
• Must be a Registered Manager: 2 years (Required)
• Must have had Ofsted Inspection in the last 2 years
As a Registered Home Manager, you will receive:
