One thing life has taught me is that everyone is carrying something you may know nothing about.
A quiet person, a delayed reply, someone seeming off or frustrated — sometimes it has absolutely nothing to do with you. We never really know what battles people are facing behind closed doors.
My own journey through health challenges and later re**al cancer completely changed my outlook on life. It taught me resilience, gratitude and the importance of kindness, because even the smallest bit of compassion can make a real difference to someone’s day.
The good news is that I’m now in remission and feeling incredibly grateful for another chapter in life. A lot more appreciative, a lot more grounded, and definitely not taking things for granted anymore.
The world could always do with a little more kindness, couldn’t it?
