☀️ Summer preparations are in full swing at Orchard Manor View! 🌿🍓

Our gardens are getting some extra love as we welcome the sunshine, and what a team effort it’s been! 💚

A big thank you to our fantastic father and son duo, Graham and James, who have been working incredibly hard to keep our outdoor spaces looking beautiful and ready for summer. 🌼🌳

Meanwhile, our lovely resident Marva has been busy in the greenhouse, carefully watering and nurturing our plants to keep them thriving. 🌱💧

And of course, no summer workday would be complete without some refreshing cooling drinks and delicious fresh fruit to keep everyone energised! 🍹🍊🍇

We’re so proud of the teamwork here at Orchard Manor View – creating a lovely, vibrant environment for everyone to enjoy. 💛

🇬🇧❤️ St George’s Day Celebrations at Orchard Manor View ❤️🇬🇧

What a fantastic day we’ve had celebrating St George’s Day here at Orchard Manor View! The home was filled with joy, laughter, and a wonderful sense of togetherness as our residents enjoyed a full day of activities.

From singing and dancing to fun group activities, everyone got involved and truly embraced the spirit of the day. A special highlight was the amazing live entertainment from the talented Sarah Jayne, whose beautiful voice had everyone smiling, clapping along, and even joining in! 🎤✨

Of course, no celebration is complete without treats… and we were spoilt with some absolutely scrumptious cupcakes, freshly prepared by our incredibly talented Senior Team Leader, Betty – they went down a treat! 🧁👏

It’s moments like these that create lasting memories and bring so much happiness to our residents and team.

Poppy brought so much joy, comfort, and plenty of smiles to our residents. From gentle cuddles to wagging tails, the happiness in the room was truly heartwarming to see.

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome the lovely visitors from Belgrave St Peter’s Church to Orchard Manor View Care Home 💛

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful and meaningful time together, sharing in morning prayer, singing, listening, and reflection. The visit brought a wonderful sense of peace, comfort, and togetherness, with many smiles and heartfelt moments throughout.

Spiritual wellbeing is such an important part of life here at Orchard Manor View, and we are so grateful to the church group for their kindness, warmth, and ongoing support.

🧶✨ A Lovely Day at Orchard Manor View ✨🧶

Our wonderful residents enjoyed a cosy and creative day today at our Knit & Natter group, with plenty of knitting, chatting, and laughter shared all around 💬💕

There’s nothing quite like the calming rhythm of knitting needles and good company to bring everyone together – and our residents certainly made the most of it!

Alongside the knitting, we also had some friendly competition during our Dominoes Club 🎲, with lots of smiles, concentration, and a few cheeky wins along the way!

Days like these are what make Orchard Manor View so special – keeping minds active, hands busy, and spirits high 💖

From fabulous feathers to wonderfully wobbly decorations, each bonnet has its own personality – just like the amazing people wearing them! 💐✨ There’s been lots of giggles, creativity, and a sprinkle of cheeky competition in the air 👀🐣

We absolutely love seeing everyone getting involved and letting their imaginations run wild – who knew bonnets could cause so much fun! 🎨💛
