Silver Star Diabetes Campaigning for diabetes awareness. www.silverstaruk.org The Unit travels to local community centres, schools, work places and other organisations.

The Silver Star runs Mobile Diabetes Units, which provides free tests for all those who may wish to have one and promotes culturally sensitive healthcare. The MDU is equipped with a bed, sink and entrance for disabled people. We measure the patient´s weight, height and finally the glucose level. In addition - Body Mass Index, Body Fat Percentage, Ideal Weight and Metabolic Age - all results are calculated immediately and everyone gets an advise on how to be more healthy.
