Who, what & why......

I am Karen, and I run Therapy for Thinking. I spent many years in the corporate environment, and found myself becoming less & less healthy with the stresses and strains of targets, long hours and at the same time supporting a family. I thought I was invincible, but we all learn that we are not and need to look after ourselves better, especially our mental health. I decided to retrain as a coach and therapist to add to my existing skills, so that I could help people avoid the mistakes I made.

I am keen to provide a bespoke service, as no one person is the same as another, so I employ a number of different techniques to help people such as NLP, CBT, Hypnotherapy, EMT, Mindfulness etc.. It is proven that the mind & body are linked and often my treatments prove this, so its important to look after both. I used to say “I suffer with Fibromyalgia” (caused by prolonged exposure to stress), but I say “I live with fibromyalgia”.
