You know what works. You just don’t want to do it. 😅

The most effective “meal plan” isn’t keto, fasting, or cutting biscuits…
It’s prep.

Boring, repetitive, slightly annoying prep.

Because:
👉 no decisions = fewer slip ups
👉 food is ready = you eat it
👉 you’re tired = past-you has already sorted it

The problem?

Prep is effort now, reward later…
And your brain would much rather have a biscuit now 🍪

So instead of:
“I’ll do a big batch cook when I feel like it”

Try:
✔️ chop a few days’ veg
✔️ cook one protein
✔️ sort a couple of lunches

That’s it. Not a full life overhaul. Just enough to make the next few days easier.

Because the truth is…

Boring works. Every time. 💥

I just need a tattoo to remind me.

For women : wrinkles
For men : muscle.

Same powder. Different insecurity.

I promise you there is no version of this where a scoop of powder replaces food. 🍱

🔴 These meds reduce appetite. That’s the tool
🟠 Your job is still to eat properly
🟡 Protein, fibre, carbs, fats, not fear-based rules
🟢 More restriction ≠ better results
🔵 Old diet thinking will trip you up if you let it
🟣 Old diet rules die hard, but they don’t belong here

Explaining the upcoming referral changes in simple terms.

The idea is to make things more efficient, but it won’t happen overnight, and it won’t look the same everywhere.

Expect huge variations across regions and complications if you live close to a boundary.

If history is anything to go by, this won’t reduce pressure… it will just shift it.

Time will tell which version we get

Your body is remarkably good at fluid and electrolyte balance if you eat and drink normally and don’t have an exit tap that won’t turn off.

You can take electrolytes if you want to.
But needing them is a whole other story.

You can’t “cure” anxiety, you can only learn to manage it.

This book will help you see a way through.

It will be uncomfortable. But so is living in a perpetual state of anxiety.

Thanks to for such a refreshing take on this topic.

→ Real magnesium deficiency is uncommon. When it happens there’s usually a reason (alcohol, severe illness, certain drugs).

→ Your kidneys regulate magnesium tightly. The body is quite good at hanging on to it.

→ Most people get enough from food. Nuts, seeds, beans, whole grains, greens.

→ Magnesium sprays/oils? No convincing evidence they absorb through skin.

→ Sold for sleep, stress, cramps, anxiety. Evidence is… very thin.

→ Too much magnesium = diarrhoea. Nature’s off switch.

Meanwhile the internet thinks we’re all running on empty.

Yeah sometimes you won’t want to exercise

But just get on and do it anyway because being unfit makes you more likely to die early.

No other way of putting it.

Have a good day ☺️

A PhD is an academic degree.
It is not a licence to practice medicine.

If someone is advising you about chemotherapy, screening, or surgery… you’re allowed to ask what their actual clinical training is.
