Sendiass Leicester SENDIASS stands for: Special Educational Needs and Disability Information Advice and Support Service.

SENDIASS Leicester offers free, confidential and impartial information, advice and support to parents and carers of young people aged 0-25 with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) as well as young people themselves. We have been supporting parents and carers in Leicester City since 1999 (formally as the Parent Partnership service). We support not only parents/carers, but also children

and young people aged 0-25 directly. We offer impartial information and advice about the law on special educational needs and disability covering:

Education, health and social care
National and local policy
The Local Offer
Your rights and choices
Your opportunities to participate
Where you can find help and advice

Leicester Parent Carer Forum and The Disabled Children’s Service are excited to invite you to a FREE afternoon of fun and adventure at the Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre (LOPC)! 🎉

📅 Date: Saturday 16th May 2026
🕘 Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Location: Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre (Ellis Meadows, Loughborough Road, Leicester, LE4 5PN)
💸 Cost: FREE (with a fully refundable £5 booking fee per person)

Come along and enjoy an unforgettable day with exciting activities including:

Whether you’d like to try just one activity or stay for the afternoon, there’s something for everyone! 🌈

Who can attend?
✅ Children & young people with SEND living in Leicester City. *Siblings will not be able to take part in the activities.
✅ Accompanied by one parent/carer (unless 2:1 support is required)

✅Age: For Children and young people aged 5-19 years. Minimum age for Gladiator Challenge and Aerial Trekking activities: 8
years
♿ Fully accessible venue and activities

Booking info:

£5 deposit per person (child + carer)
When booking, you only need to book the child attending. We will need a consent form for that child, and then another one for the nominated parent/carer.
Refunded on the day when you attend = completely FREE! You will not get a refund if you do not attend.
Spaces are limited – book early to avoid disappointment.
