We are very pleased to announce that we are continuing our support for Dementia sufferers by becoming Dementia Friends!

A Dementia Friend is somebody that learns about dementia so they can help their community.

Too many people affected by dementia feel that society fails to understand the condition they live with. Dementia Friends help by raising awareness and understanding, so that people living with dementia can continue to live in the way they want.

Let’s Talk-Wellbeing is a service that provides assessment and treatment for what are known as mild to moderate common mental health problems, which 1 in 4 of us will experience at some stage in our lives.

The service is provided across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The Let’s Talk-Wellbeing service is run by specialised, skilled and accredited practitioners who are able to provide talking therapies for people experiencing common difficulties including:

•panic
•phobias
•obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
•trauma
