Eligible groups:

You can get yours at your GP or most local pharmacies – no appointment needed at many places!

Stay well with these simple winter tips:

Children often notice changes in their grandparents long before adults expect them to. Dementia can be difficult to explain, but open conversations make it easier for children to cope and stay connected.

Some ways to guide those conversations include:
• Keeping explanations simple and suited to their age
• Reminding them their grandparent is still the same person inside
• Finding activities to enjoy together, such as reading or looking at family albums
• Allowing space for questions and answering honestly
