Interesting article on direct to consumer cancer genetic tests. The conclusion being that there is a large variability in the accuracy of these tests and they are always best ordered in conjunction with your genetic counsellor or doctor.

The kits are convenient and fairly inexpensive, but there's a lot to think about before taking a test, experts say.
