Service Overview:
At Saffron Court we support 28 adults over the age of 18 in individual flats on the same site. We support adults with learning disabilities or mental health needs as they undertake their daily activities. This includes providing support for areas of personal care and finances; assisting with work or with college; and aiding each person to access the community and live a fulfilling life.
We have a large communal kitchen, living room and social space as well as a garden for all to enjoy if they choose. There is a lovely community feel at Saffron Court.
Saffron Court is easily accessible with close transport links and has a library and leisure centres within walking distance.

What is the role?
Service Manager (Reporting to the Registered Manager)
£24,000 – 40 hours per week - LE3 6AF
Saffron Court is currently transitioning from domiciliary to a supported living model of care provision, as Service Manager you will be working closely with the Project Lead during this phase.

• Passionate about people receiving personalised care
• Promoting equality and diversity for staff and people we support.
• Has experience of working within a Supported Living service and have an awareness of the CQC regulations.
• QCF Level 3 as a minimum or working towards (or equivalent)
• Being able to effectively manage and develop a team
• Maintain and adhere to the budget
• Ability to manage safe staffing levels and recruitment
• Although this role reports into the Registered Manager, as Service Manager you will be required to work on your own initiative and lead the day to day operations of the service.
Please note, you will have to evidence that you have received at least your first COVID-19 vaccination and that you have your second vaccination booked before you can commence your employment with Valorum Care Group.
