You are entitled to a free flu vaccination if:
🟢aged 65 years or older by the 31st March 2026
🟢are pregnant
🟢live in a care home
🟢are a carer
🟢live with someone with a low immune system
🟢have certain long term health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, heart disease, liver or kidney disease, a weak immune system, a learning disability, or have a BMI over 40.

It was a pleasure to host Dr Evans, MP today to talk all things pharmacy.

We talked about the difficulties the pharmacy sector has including funding, the provision of services and our role in healthcare.

A very good chance to show Dr Evans everything we do!

Community pharmacies continue to play a huge part in the role of the NHS, so it was good to speak this morning with the team at Heathbrook Pharmacy - Newbold Verdon about the national picture as well as how they support us locally.

We were joined by the Chief Executive of the Independent Pharmacy Association, Dr Leyla Hannbeck, and discussed everything from Pharmacy First to additional services pharmacies can provide for their area.
