I am a holistic therapist and well being practitioner. In 2020 I discovered a passion for creative writing and have written poems and short stories. Some of my work I am honoured to say is published in the anthology titled Create Together. We are all black and south asisn women authors from Leicester who have contributed to the anthology. Finding Happiness With A Broken Mind is collection of Personal Stories, Poems & Photography. All money raised from this book will go to MIND - The Mental Health Charity and Books 4 The Mind. Honoured and blessed some of my short Meditations and Mindfulness practices are published in this book. Both publications are available on amazon and in High Street book stores. I have been a part of a wonderful seva (voluntary) project, and just in time for Christmas 2021, this book was published. Suhkam Publishers offer free of charge their publication titled ‘Moments’ which is a non-profit making initiative. The objective of the project is that the book be distributed in care / residential homes, hospices, cancer charities, and community hospitals in Leicester.
‘Moments’ is a collection of written works created by people from different ages and backgrounds. A variety of uplifting written pieces on mindfulness, gratitude, love, kindness, and nature. I'm also qualified in Access Bars, 5 Awakenings Sequence, Hopi Ear Candle therapy and Indian Head massage. I provide this service both mobile and from home, covering Leicester, Nottingham, Coventry, and surrounding areas. Prior to Covid I held regular Meditation Classes for adults including breathing exercises, relaxation, main guided meditations and a grounding meditation . I write all my own meditations. Last but no means least, I am a children's yoga teacher and do children's mindfulness exercises/ games between the ages of 3 & 10 years of age. Pleasant surprise this afternoon to receive this award at The Panjabi listeners Club 30th anniversary. I thought I was attending to read my poem and talk and share my views on Panjabi language as a British born Panjabi.

Moments of Mine book was launched at Our Apnapan end of year celebrations that took place on Saturday 7th December.
I visited Macmillan Cancer Support at Leicester Royal Infirmary, and we distributed some in the chemotherapy and radiotherapy departments.
Moments of Mine is in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support. A truly heartfelt thank you to all the contributors who have provided their seva, evolution print and design Leicester and to Macmillan Cancer Support for enabling Moments of Mine to unfold.

An Amazing journey which started in 2015 which has evolved and developed in so many ways. A personal growth and enlightening journey so far where i have been blessed to meet some wonderful souls so far and cannot wait to meet more!
So onto a bit about me. I used to be a Forever Living products distributor but decided this was not for me and moved onto retailing Himalayan Salt Lamps & good quality incense sticks & cones. I’ve traded at mind Body Soul events, Vegan markets and general fairs. This was a great experience however i have now i am concentrating on other ways to develop Indy Essence from training i have taken. Do keep reading on...............

I coach seated guided meditation classes which i write myself in Leicester & Nottingham. Classes are open to everyone as its seated on a chair, not the floor. Suitable for beginners. Starting with breathing exercises moving onto relaxation meditation then a main guided meditation. One to one classes are available too if preferred & can be written to suit your personal needs. Available for small group bookings in the comfort of your own home with family & friends.
Qualified children's yoga & mindfulness teacher between the ages of 2 to 11 years of age. Available for well being events and in nurseries and primary schools. Hoping to start regular parent & child workshops soon.
Using the concept of vision boards i host successful My Vision Board & Guided Meditation workshops. These are with parent/ guardian & child/children. The children collate images that they like from magazines and also positive affirmations they can chose along with words to build self esteem, which they can colour in. Ending the workshop with breathing exercises, mindfulness games & a short guided meditation. Some wonderful feedback from attendees.
At the beginning of the year and in June i host vision board & guided mediation workshops. A great visual tool to manifest dreams into reality. I was blessed to be invited onto BBC Radio Leicester at the beginning of 2019 to be interviewed about vision boards which was mega exciting. Qualified as an IMPACT Well being Programme Instructor. This includes breathing exercises mindfulness relaxation, self massage & peer to peer massage. Looking forward to taking this into workplaces, care homes, primary schools, secondary schools and holding workshops for all to attend.
The one therapy that i am excited about is Laughter Therapy. Sessions are in groups and enjoyed by people of all ages. This can include clapping, chanting, some movement and most important laughing.
Mental Health 1st Responder. Help identify & assist people struggling with their mental health.
EFT Tapping. Acupuncture and acupressure points using fingertips and tapping on certain points of the body which can release stress, anxiety and pain.
Wellbeing Workshops available for 1 to 1 bookings, groups, in the workplace, care homes, schools & day groups.
