Step into the newly refurbished Leicester Cathedral, where we'll come together to celebrate the incredible generosity of the community towards Leicester's Hospitals and celebrate the diversity our city has to offer.

We have performances by our very own staff, talented dancers from University Leicester(DMU), and the prestigious winners of the 2023 Gospel Choir of the Year, . 🎤🎶

This week we’ve been busy getting images and stories ready to share with you at the pop-up shop in the Highcross from 𝟭𝟴 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟮 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿. 🏪🏪

We'd like to say a huge thank you to Rich Bailey-Wiles for raising £155 by taking on the challenge of running 75km around Lake Windermere in The Lap event on Saturday 9 September. Rich completed this amazing challenge to help raise money for Leicester’s Hospitals as a thanks for the care his son Olly received.

Rich also fundraised previously, taking on his first ultramarathon - the 50km Salomon Serpent Trail, bringing his grand total raised up to £395. Well done Rich.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻!

A round of applause to the Ellistown Working Mens Club for organising the Ellistown Music Festival on Saturday 16 September. 👏

They raised a fabulous £1,360 on the day of the event and a grand total of £1392 in support of all young patients being treated at Leicester Children's Hospital. The money will go towards providing young patients with items like toys, games, and other entertainment to help them feel comfortable during their stay in the hospital.

Pride of Britain award winners Hughie & Freddie have raised an astounding £5,006.69 for Leicester’s children’s oncology wards!

Watch how they did it by clicking the link below, the boys ran their two laps around the King Power Stadium pitch on Monday 1 May and with a final push for sponsorship over these past few weeks, they’re now over the £𝟱𝗸 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸!

𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 £𝟭𝟬𝟬𝗞 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 🏌️

Well done Sunita Aggarwal for raising over £𝟯𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬 at the recent golfing event and helping to push her fundraising target to £𝟭𝟬𝟲,𝟴𝟱𝟵 all in memory of her beloved husband Raj.

With the help of all her retail friends and family, Sunita has been fundraising for the past three years in memory of Raj. Setting up a national campaign called ‘𝗗𝗼 𝗔𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗷 𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗼’ to pay tribute to Raj’s giving nature and helping others.❤️

Family was hugely important to Raj, we’ve already been able to use the first donation went to fund the Kishan & Raj Aggarwal Room in the Cardiac Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the children’s hospital.

The room is a beautifully decorated quiet room, where parents of sick children who are receiving treatment for various illnesses and recovering from the care they receive at Leicester’s Hospitals, can grab a moment of calm to gather themselves and re-energise away from the ward environment but still be close to their child.

The proceeds from the event on Thursday 4 May 2023 will go to both Hospitals Charity and Hospitals Charity.

The money for Leicester will go towards helping fund further equipment and services for the children’s wards at 's Hospitals.
