We come together to explore thoughts and feelings around loss in a non-judgement space.

My experience has been that shared stories help us to understand where we are and thus navigate the often isolating and disempowering landscape of grief.

GRIEF CAFE THIS WEEKEND…

For anyone effected by the loss of a loved one whether imminent, years past or current. All situations and emotions welcome.

This is a safe space to explore the terrain of bereavement and the impact of loss on our lives. The intention is not to stir up emotion but rather, to give what is already there, space to exist.

Free event. Plenty of tea & coffee, surrounded by rolling hills, in the spacious ‘Wellness Rooms’ in Tur Langton.

I’m Kim. I host the event. I generally offer sessions on embodiment, elements of core shamanism & hypnotherapy to support life changes.

My particular interests are drawn from the lived experience of C/PTSD, loss, addiction and the journey home to the natural self.

This experience suggests that connection to self and to other and ultimately, to life is supportive in the process of grief.

Nature herself invites us toward contemplation of the year that is now passing and the one that lies ahead. To calm our lives and just pause…

Stand in the stillness like trees or frosted air. You need do nothing. What a lovely invitation.

🌲🎄🌲SEASONAL DROP IN SESSION 🌲🎄🌲

Christmas is not ‘merry’ for everyone. You may be experiencing feelings of OVERWHELM or FAMILY TENSION? Perhaps you are suffering from the LOSS of a loved one or experiencing family ESTRANGEMENT?

Successive parties can be problematic if you have ALCOHOLISM in the family and are trying to keep the peace or hide your fear & distress from friends, neighbours and colleagues? Maybe you are an ADULT CHILD of an ALCOHOLIC (ACoA) and struggling to find support?

I am opening the rooms on SATURDAY 7th DECEMBER as a space to bring your concerns.

No miracle cures but the beginning of a conversation that can lead to a different type of peace: a CAPACITY to REGULATE and calm yourself internally, even in the midst of difficult circumstances- thus affording a much greater sense of SOVEREIGNTY.

Plants and animals don’t fight the winter; they don’t pretend it’s not happening and attempt to carry on living the same lives that they lived in the summer. They prepare. They adapt. They perform extraordinary acts of metamorphosis to get them through.
Winter is a time of withdrawing from the world, maximising scant resources, carrying out acts of brutal efficiency and vanishing from sight; but that’s where the transformation occurs.
Winter is not the death of the life cycle, but its crucible. Once we stop wishing it were summer, winter can be a glorious season in which the world takes on a sparse beauty and even the pavements sparkle.
It’s a time for reflection and recuperation, for slow replenishment, for putting your house in order.
Doing those deeply unfashionable things; slowing down, letting your spare time expand, getting enough sleep, resting ...
