Today’s fertility fact recognises the important contribution made by donors.

The suggests that as many as 1 in 6 children born as a result of IVF treatment are conceived using donor eggs, s***m or embryos, highlighting the critical role of donations in aiding those struggling to conceive.

We've launched our newsletter!

The Leicester Fertility team are delighted to unveil our brand new newsletter to you all. We've been working hard behind-the-scenes to pull this together and provide you with fertility news, facts and unseen pictures of life inside our centre.

In our first issue, we also include a piece on which coincides with our launch. It is a cause we wholeheartedly support and we urge others to get involved and support it. This week is Baby Loss Awareness Week, a campaign aimed at raising awareness of losing a baby and fighting for better bereavement care.

This year, the campaign is planning a , where families across the world are urged to light candles to commemorate the lives of babies and share memories of the all-too-brief time they had together.

Our research shows that it was 35 in 2022 (which was the most recent data provided by the HFEA) – but we’re ready to help those of all ages, backgrounds and ethnicities on their journey to parenthood.

There are people all across the UK who struggle to conceive naturally - and that’s quite normal. With the wide variety of fertility treatments and add-ons now available, we will do our best to walk you through the process, ensuring you are getting the appropriate support towards starting a family.
