We are absolutely amazed at the response of our Amazon wishlist 🩷

We would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to community wishes who bought our entire wish list not long after uploading it!! We are incredibly grateful and many of the items have been already been put to great use for our lovely patients and families ☺️☺️

To anyone else who has donated since we replenished the list on Amazon … thank you so much! Your generosity has not gone unnoticed and words can’t explain how grateful we are to receive such lovely items to improve our patient’s experience on intensive care 💙

Now it’s getting to that time of year ..🎄🧑‍🎄🎅🤶🎁 so we have added some festive items to our wishlist to try and add a bit of sparkle to what can be a difficult time spending Christmas in hospital✨ again we are so thankful to everyone who has shared and donated 🌟

Christmas has come early on cPICU! We have received lots of items off the Amazon wishlist and would like to thank each and every one of you for your amazing donations! These items will make such a difference to our patients and parents whilst staying with us 🥰

Please keep spreading the word about our wish list! It has now been updated with a range of things including crafty items to help us create personalised diary pages for our patients that they can take home after discharge and look back on in the future to remember their time with us ❤️

Hi everyone! 👋🏻

We are new here so let us introduce ourselves …

We are a children’s cardiac intensive care unit at Leicester Royal Infirmary specialising in providing treatment for children with heart problems aged 0-17. We also provide ECMO for children with reversible respiratory and cardiovascular conditions🫀🫁

We strive to give the best possible care and after discussion with parents and staff we have created an Amazon wish list with a variety of items that will benefit both our patients and parents. A stay in intensive care can be extremely stressful for all involved and we hope that with these generous donations we can take away some of this stress and make a difference to families we meet on a day to day basis 🫶🏻

We would be extremely grateful for any donations or even just sharing this amongst friends and family to spread the word! ❤️
