Cold vs heat therapy.

Both have their uses But I’ve seen people that don’t know when to use what modality.

❄️ How to apply:
Ice pack, cold gel pack, or even a bag of frozen peas
15–20 minutes every 1–2 hours
Protect skin with a towel or cloth to prevent frostbite

🔥 How to apply:
Heating pad, warm shower, hot water bottle, warm bath
15–20 minutes at a time
Don’t use on swollen or inflamed areas

My name is Zak Loveridge and I’m the owner of ZRL Sports Therapy. We are a mobile sports therapy service that also offers clinic appointments from the therapy station in Stoney Stanton.

We offer full injury assessment and rehab. With support throughout your rehabilitation, finding the cause and working to get you back to full health.

Sports massage. To relax your muscles, weather  that’s before or after a sporting event. Or just to relax from day to day stress.

Fire cupping, can help with pain relief. (Muscle tension, soreness and joint pain) improve circulation, muscle recovery, relaxation and stress reduction, detoxification support, respiratory benefits, immune system support and improve skin health. This is because of the suction of the cups, promoting blood flow to the areas.

Exercise prescription. This can be for an injury or for improving day to day life. Making the body stronger with the right exercises.

Injury prevention support. Helping you stay fit and healthy so you can do the things you love most. 

Sports taping. Applying tape to support the body, whether that’s in conjunction of an injury or to help perform the things you love most.
