The London Road Chiropractic Clinic was established in 1972 and there are four chiropractors who work in the clinic. The clinic is fully equipped with treatment rooms and digital x-ray facilities.

**Important Notice – Price Update**

From today, there will be an increase to our treatment prices.

We have not increased our prices since **2022**, and we have spent the last month making patients aware in clinic through notices and conversations wherever possible.

This has not been a decision we have taken lightly, but rising costs mean that a price adjustment is now necessary in order for us to continue offering the level of care and service our patients expect from us.

We hope everyone can understand, and we are very grateful for your continued support of our small clinic.

Something else that’s new in our clinic…..
We’ve added a feedback box and information leaflets so patients can share any comments, suggestions, or feedback with us. This can be done anonymously if you prefer.

New year, new addition to the practice!

We’re pleased to share that we’ve added an AED (defibrillator) to the clinic. It’s something we felt was important to have in place, and we hope it offers reassurance to our patients and visitors.

We obviously hope it never needs to be used and wish you all a happy 2026 ❤️

💳 Important Update: New Payment System

We’re currently in the process of moving to a new payment system.

This means we will soon stop using the card machine at the front desk and begin using Stripe, a secure payment system linked directly to our diary and booking system.

Stripe is a trusted, third-party, encrypted platform that allows us to store your card details securely, making future payments quicker and easier.

⚠️ Important:
The first time we enter your card into the new system, we’ll need your physical card. Unfortunately, Apple Pay and Google Pay can’t be used for this initial setup.
Please remember to bring your card to your next appointment if you don’t usually carry it.

📢 Important Update for AXA Insurance Patients

We wanted to let our patients know that, as of today, we will no longer be accepting AXA insurance.

AXA has recently changed how they require us to submit invoices and have introduced additional fees for doing so. Unfortunately, as insurance patients already come with higher administrative costs, these new changes have made it too difficult for us to continue working directly with AXA.

👉 Don’t worry — if you’re a current AXA patient, we’ll continue your care until the end of your current course of treatment.

We’ll still be accepting BUPA and all other major insurance providers. For all insurers other than BUPA, we ask that you pay upfront and claim the cost back directly from your insurance company — a process that’s been working smoothly for the past few years.

A Quick Word on How We Do Things Differently 👌

Lately, I’ve been hearing a lot about the different ways chiropractic clinics operate, so I wanted to share a little about how we approach care.

One thing we will never do is ask you to book a long series of treatments or pay upfront for a large, non-refundable package. Sadly, this seems to be becoming more common — and in our view, it’s just not right.

Every person is different, and so are their needs. Even if two people come in with the same diagnosis, their recovery journeys may be completely different. Factors like your job, stress levels, family support, sleep, mattress quality, exercise, and more all play a role.

That’s why we assess progress continually — checking in with how you feel things are going, and how we feel things are going. The goal is to make sure things are moving in the right direction, at a pace that’s right for you.

We’re passionate about chiropractic care, not sales. That’s why we’ve never tied our clinic to a business model. For over 50 years, we’ve relied on word of mouth, and we’ll continue to be here when you need us — whether that’s for a short time, or longer-term support.

We love our building, woodchip wallpaper and all, but it does need a lot of maintenance 😅
Chris the carpenter is back and restoring two more of our wooden sash windows and he'll be around for at least a week.
Please keep an eye out for his scaffolding tower and any potential trip hazards when walking near his work space.

There is access to our clinic off the roundabout, even though the cones are there. There’s a gap for a car so please come through as normal, albeit on the wrong side of the road!

There is no access from the bottom of London road so if you’re coming from that direction you’ll need to make your way to evingotn and come round from there.
