Some of our fantastic team joined together to form a choir, practicing in their own time and then coming together to perform for a local care home. The team thoroughly enjoyed it and the residents had a great time singing along!! A lovely way to give back to the local community at this time of the year! On Wednesday we drew our 16 winners for our Charity Christmas Hamper Raffle! We managed to raise an amazing £1800 in raffle ticket sales which will be topped up by the hospital to £2000 for LOROS Hospice! An amazing achievement and £500 more than last year! Thank you to everyone who took part and a massive thank you to Sharon and Sarah for organising and looking fantastic while doing it and congratulations to our winners!!!

Winter can take a toll on your eyes with increased screen time, use of central heating and low sun. Simple habits can help; wearing sunglasses in low sun, maintaining good air circulation and making sure heating temperatures aren't too high and ensure good lighting when working on a computer, looking at your phone or reading!

Our former colleague and dear friend, Penny, recently took part in Hope Against Cancer's 'The Gift of HOPE' campaign, this post was sponsored by The Stoneygate Eye Hospital and last years Charity Christmas Hamper Raffle was donated to Bowl Cancer UK raising an amazing £1500.
