Dog food cans are stuck in the vase….
My 14 month old put dog food cans in here but I can’t pull them out as there is not enough room for my fingers and the can to fit through the hole 😅
Holding it upside down didn’t work either 😅
I only got a few hours sleep last night so my brain isn’t firing on all cylinders… maybe the answer is obvious 😳
I don’t have chronic sleep problems.. I just have a 14 month old who is acting biologically normal so it makes it easier to deal with, knowing it won’t always be like this… however I’m still painfully exhausted 😴
Having chronic insomnia is something a lot of people live with for an unending amount of time. It’s become part of their normal and coping mechanisms have been put in place to help aid the discomfort.
Spending extra time in bed only perpetuates the problem as your brain will not only associate time in bed with being a wakeful place, but also that it can continue not sleeping as you’ve adjusted your life to accommodate it…
Not many people know that Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi) has an 80% success rate and is the first line of treatment recommended by the NHS- although not widely available- hence why I exist!
With CBTi we’ll work through changing your association with your sleep, we’ll strip it right back… essentially we’ll break your sleep and rebuild it!
You’ll be sleeping better than me within 2 months!
I reckon I’ve still got a couple of years before my sleep improves… who knows 🤷♀️
For now, those dog food cans will serve as emergency back up until I feel awake enough to figure out how to get them out without breaking the vase 😅
What would you achieve with improved sleep?
