While we’ve loved the one-by-one chats in the past, we know that times (and people!) change – so we’re evolving too. We’ve swapped the old “going around the room” format for something brighter, more energising, and more inclusive 💛

Now, it’s all about group sharing – where everyone can join in (if they wish), swap ideas, get inspired and celebrate together in a way that feels uplifting and full of fun 💬🎉 You’ll still have the chance to shine and set your own goals – but in a way that feels fresh, focused and full of positive vibes!

Losing weight isn’t just about the number on the scales it is so much more than that, it really can be life changing.
Stuart is now just half a pound off losing 13 stone and this is the message his daughter sent to his consultant:

My dad had already faced the fight of his life—he battled cancer and won. But survival came with its own cost. He was at his heaviest weight ever and mentally in a dark place. The spark in him had faded, and I feared he wouldn’t be around to see my children grow up. He had overcome so much, but I was scared he was slipping away.

Then, something incredible happened.

He took one small but life-changing step: he walked through the doors of Slimming World.

From that moment on, everything began to change. With the unwavering support and guidance of Debby and the amazing Slimming World group, my dad slowly started to find himself again. Each week, he showed up—not just for the weight loss, but for the community, the encouragement, and the safe space where he felt seen and supported.

This wasn’t just a slimming group. It was therapy. It was friendship. It was hope.

Week by week, pound by pound, smile by smile, I watched him transform—not just in appearance, but in spirit. He regained his confidence, his energy, and most importantly, his love for life.

Now, when I look at the man he has become, I hardly recognise the man he used to be. The difference is truly unbelievable. He laughs more, he moves more, and he looks forward to the future. And I know, deep in my heart, that Slimming World, Debby, and that community saved him.

I will forever be grateful for that first step he took. Because that step didn’t just change his life—it gave him a future.

I'm not sure if this is common knowledge but I support EVERYONE that wants to lose weight, whether that be with or without weightloss injections or bariatric surgery.

There is no shaming or judgement by me or my existing members as we all KNOW that losing weight is not easy - if it was we'd all be skinny-Minnies!
