THANK YOU!!! ❤️ To those who attended our ‘The Way’ meditation classes this week our first of the year. After an ‘Enlightened Thought,’ we practised our Mindfulness of Breathing meditation. Originating from Buddhism, mindfulness meditation is particularly valuable for improving focus, well-being as well as changing unwanted patterns of behaviour. We followed this with an overview of Gratitude Meditation and practised a Guided Gratitude meditation where we gave thanks to the physical body. Research shows benefits of practising regular Gratitude Meditation such as improved well-being, lower incidences of depression, better sleep, and greater trust. Thank you for your positive feedback during our classes.
