I am a personal trainer working in Leigh on Sea’s premier personal training studio, Club One Hundred. I can help you achieve all your fitness and weight loss goals. I understand the day to day struggles and challenges involved in making the changes you need to make to lead a healthier lifestyle, and to stick to it! Hello!

Let me take a few minutes to re-introduce myself!

I’m Sarah, a PT and sports massage therapist based at Club One Hundred in sunny Leigh on Sea!

Not only do I work in the fitness industry, I also work in Local Government 4 days a week, am a devoted partner to my other half, mum to a very busy toddler and stepmum to a tweenager. I am also hitting my mid forties this year, and ladies we all know what that means!

So I know what it feels like to be busy, stressed out and trying to navigate your health and fitness goals and manage life and everything that comes along with it whilst trying to remain sane!

I love challenging myself and competing in fitness events, and I have some exciting fitness goals lined up for this year!

So if you need help from somebody that ‘gets it’ give me a shout, my inbox is always open! 🙌🏻

I did it! My first solo Hyrox debut in London….did it go to plan…..no of course it didn’t!!! 😂😂

Once again a poorly toddler bought all manner of illness to the household the week before the event!! Of course I caught the lurgy and this meant that two days out from my race I was steaming my head to try and clear my nose and sinuses and I will also confess to having a little cry into my cup of lemsip whilst in bed at the hotel Sunday morning.

Thought about whether it was actually a good idea to still do it then thought, oh why not, what’s the worst that can happen!

After a very serious warm up session that involved some dancing and a lot of waving off I went!

The ski felt like it crushed my lungs, the burpees I spent a lot of time laying on the floor soaking up and smelling the sweat of the 30k people that had competed before me, and I had a temper tantrum in the wall balls!

But the farmers I did the cool turn I wanted to do, the sleds and lunges felt great after all the practicing I have been doing and being lighter weights compared to the mixed doubles, and in general I mange to stay steady and consistent all the way round.

I was 6 minutes slower than my goal
time, but that’s okay. I made it round, I tried my best, and I still managed to smile and have fun and have a bit of banter with my supporters and the judges on the way round to!

That’s what it’s all about for me, I have realised this year that’s there is likely to always be something that is going to stop my prep being perfect, and really I just have to accept that and get on with it if I want to carry on doing these silly things!

Big shout out and thank you to all the people that supported at the weekend .bowyer ( for the photos to!!) ,Josh, all the gang from and for being an awesome training partner over the last year!

On to next years training and events! Woop!!!

Hyrox Paris….completed it mate!

Feeling very happy with a 4.36 pb in the bag!

The prep leading up was by no means perfect. We didn’t get to train together once, (I think February was our last training session together actually), a poorly toddler the week before kindly passed her germs on to us just before we went (still suffering now) and it’s was a chaotic trip into Paris when we should’ve been resting and relaxing, and I got the mother of all stitches on run number 5 🤮

But still, the venue was good, the sled carpet did not beat us, I managed to do the fancy turn thing on the farmers carries, we got a PB and didn’t have a single argument on the way round this time 😂😂😂

So I’ll take that, now to get ready for my solo debut in London in 6 weeks time!

Oh and I hate wall balls…..forever!!

Had the best day at .fit yesterday we day taking part in Nuclear storm and my friends!

It was wet, it was hard, but it was so much fun!!! Managed to beat my previous time/round number by quite a bit aswell which I am so happy about!

Can’t wait to head back there in September to see what I can achieve then 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Turf Games Summer festival!!!

What a day!

The sun was shining, the vibe was great and the workouts were tough!

Had a great day with my amazing team mates and who are all absolute legends! Was a pleasure to be on a team with you all!

Big thanks to .owennnn who was our standby team mate in case any of us got injured, and then came up to cheer us on!

Thank you .bowyer and and Amy’s Sam for being the best cheer squad we could have asked for!

A massive thank you to for again being on the cheer squad and once again taking so many amazing photos for us!

Keep it simple!

Most common problem I find when people are trying to lose weight, get fitter, improve their health etc….they make it far too complicated!

Tonight dinner was chilli and coriander prawns ( bought them like that!) with Stirfried tenderstem broccoli and peppers cooked in coconut oil.

Protein✅
Veggie serving ✅
Fats ✅
Fibre ✅
Easy and quick to cook ✅
Tastes lush ✅

Who’s got New Year’s resolutions for their health then?

I love a New Year’s resolution, and it always makes me happy when somebody wants to make changes to their life so they become healthier and fitter!

My tip for you is to not try and change it all at once! If you can’t i@shine yourself doing g this exercise regime or diet for the at least the next year, maybe scale it back a bit?

I always suggest setting one or two non negotiables. Things that you can do every single day to help you create newer healthier habits.

Then build from there 🙌🏻

Hello everyone and happy new year!

It’s been a while since I have posted really so I thought would quickly reintroduce myself.

I am Sarah, and I am a personal trainer and sports massage therapist based in Leigh on Sea in Essex.

I work with people, mainly women, that want to lose weight, get healthier fitter and stronger. I love nothing more than helping people achieve their goals and helping them feel great!

Last year I had my first baby, a little girl called Lexi who is 5 months old now, she is a little IVF miracle baby and is an absolute joy. She is also my inspiration to be a fit and healthy mummy so I will be able to chase her round and play with her and to set a good positive example for her around health and fitness in the years to come.

I work mainly face to face but will be taking on some online clients in February 2024, so if you want to work with me but don’t live locally this will be your chance to!

My fitness goal for this year is a double body weight deadlift and also to compete in Hyrox in November.
