Thea went to get her new leg fitted today.

She has a new prosthetic foot which has a little gap between the big toe and her other toes so that she can wear flip flops now 😭❤️
Thea has also got a bendy metal bit inside her prosthetic foot now, like a blade what runners wear, which has more of a bounce so that she can run even faster!

She is made up with her new Spiderman leg! ❤️🖤

Thea has been for her new foot today. Whilst she was there they asked if there were any issues so Richard mentioned how it was rubbing at the top. So today she has had casting done to get a new top bit and silicon sock as her current one is too tight. So she choose pink with white skulls on 😂 it will be ready in 2-3 weeks. She was a big girl having her leg casted didnt cry and let Grace measure her and everything!

Thea went to the Specialised ability centre for her check up yesterday.

Thea had to have her leg altered already as she has grown. They increased the length by 1cm and altered the foots angle so that it sits better.

We will go back in the next 4-6 months again to check her height and see if it needs to be altered.

Again they were so impressed with her progress and Thea loved seeing her bestie Grace ❤️

Thea's second week back at Little Rainbows' Day Nursery Leigh and she has just been loving life ❤️

We cannot thank the staff enough for making her transition back to nursery so easy. You can tell by her face that she is just so happy to be there and they are aiding her so much with her walking ❤️
