Today we bid a fond farewell to one of our wonderful Teaching Assistants as she prepares to welcome her little one into the world. We are so grateful for her dedication, warmth, and the positive impact she has had on our students and team.

We wish her all the best as she embarks on this exciting new chapter, and we can’t wait to meet the newest addition to her family! 👶✨

🌟 Our College Employability Journey Has Already Begun! 🌟

Our Leigh campus Employability students have kick-started their Careers Preparation and Readiness for the world of work by visiting a fantastic local careers fair at the Youth Zone! 💼✨

Students had the chance to meet employers, explore future opportunities, and receive impartial careers advice and guidance to help them make informed choices about their next steps.

They also developed key life skills through community engagement, independence, and travel training and had an amazing time doing it! 🙌

We’re so proud of their enthusiasm and the confidence they’re building for the world of work. 💪

Today, the Orrell College community came together in support of Breast Cancer Awareness, with staff and students wearing pink to raise both awareness and vital funds for this important cause.

This initiative holds particular significance for us as we stand alongside one of our remarkable students, Lois, who continues to face a personal family related journey with strength, positivity, and grace.

Supported by her teaching and learning team, as well as her peers, Lois exemplifies resilience and optimism in the face of challenge. 💕💕💕
