EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN OUR TEAM OF DEVELOPMENT WORKERS!

Due to the increased demand for our services, we are recruiting a development worker in the Leigh and Wigan area to support adults and children with autism and learning disabilities.

We have a 28-hour contract available.

We are looking for someone who is creative, dynamic, flexible with a ‘can do ‘attitude
You will need to have a great value base, focus on outcomes, the motivation to succeed and ability to challenge poor practice.

You will need to be able to work well as part of a team and on your own, to maintain continuity for our members that you will be supporting to access the community doing all the things they enjoy.

In return for your skills and experience we offer:
• Competitive rates of pay, starting at £ 12.21per hour increasing to £12.71per hour on the 1st of April.
• Employee recognition.
• Employee Assistance programme.
• On going training and personal development

We had some very sad news last week that our lovely friend Carol had passed away .Carol had been with us for many years...

We had some very sad news last week that our lovely friend Carol had passed away .
Carol had been with us for many years and was loved by us all , her cheeky smile , her loving ways , how she would check her friends were ok if they were upset. Carol always had a smile on her face for you , an even bigger one if you brought her a brew and little cake !!

Carol was fearless and would give anything a go , loved being out and about with her friends , having a party , trying new things.

Carol , we have so many wonderful memories of times we spent together , you are very much loved and missed by us all , you really did steal our hearts.

Our thoughts are with Denise and Steve , Carols sister and brother in law at this difficult time
RIP Carol - a few of our times spent at True Colours 🕊️
