As we have done in previous years, Brookmill are supporting a local charity called Compassion in Action this Christmas 🎄

We are collecting new or nearly new Christmas jumpers for children aged 1 -10 years old and new toys for children aged 0-12 years.

If anyone would like to contribute please can they be dropped off at Brookmill no later than Monday 8th Dec - thank you!

In September the practice held a coffee morning with proceeds to Armed Forces Community HQ CIC

We the support from our PPG, patients and staff we managed to raise over £450 towards supporting their charity!

Thank you for everyone who was involved 🤍

Mike Mills, our dedicated Primary Care Liaison Coordinator, along with his loyal service dog, Ty, attended an important fundraising event at Brook Mill Medical Centre in Leigh

DON'T FORGET! Our Musculoskeletal Health Related Education Sessions start from again next week.
Our next educational session will be on 📌Exercise with diabetes 📌 this will explore the connection between diabetes and musculoskeletal health. Help prevent long-term issues and improve your quality of life.

Date :23rd of September 2025, Location Leigh Leisure Centre WN7 4JY, Start time 1pm and finishes at 2 pm.

Our expert clinicians aim to provide an informal information session with the opportunity to ask questions about specific topics that might affect your MSK health. Our FCP team are available for 1:1 appointments that can be booked after the session if you would like to discuss a specific issue in more detail.

📢 We’re hitting the road to raise awareness about (also known as cancer of the foodpipe) and persistent heartburn.
This October, we’re teaming up with Heartburn Cancer UK - HCUK and will be out in the community to talk about persistent heartburn and why it shouldn’t be ignored.

Alternatively you can call the practice on 01942 681880 to make an appointment ☎️

📅 Patients aged 65+ and those in an at risk group will be able to book an appointment, clinics run from 1st October. Texts with online booking links are currently being sent

📆 Pregnant ladies are able to be vaccinated from 17th September onwards

📆 Children aged 2-3 and those age 6m-18years in an at risk group will have the nasal spray, these will be in stock w/c 8th September however dedicated clinics during the October half term can also be prebooked.

to support a local charity called
The Armed Forces Veterans

Please come along for a coffee and biscuit. We will also be holding a raffle, and tickets are available for £1 a strip at reception which will be a CASH ONLY event
