🎄✨ Our final Christmas party celebrations took place today on our Lilford Unit, and what a truly special day it was! ✨🎄

A huge thank you to Susan for singing at our Christmas parties and bringing so much joy, music, and magic to our amazing residents 🎶❤️

Seeing our residents sing along, dance, smile, and feel pure joy means the world to us. Moments like these are especially precious in a dementia care home, where music can spark memories, lift moods, and help our residents feel connected, comforted, and truly themselves 🌟🧠💫

We feel incredibly lucky to work in their home and to share such a special time of year together. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do 💕

🎄✨ Today we had our wonderful Christmas celebration on Beech Unit! ✨🎄

Susan once again sang beautifully and had everyone smiling from ear to ear 😊🎶 We were also joined by our fantastic guest singer Malcolm, who treated us to a lovely song too 🎤⭐

It was so special to see our amazing families come along to sing with their loved ones ❤️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Such a lovely atmosphere filled with joy and togetherness.
We finished the celebration by handing out prizes to our amazing residents 🎁🏆 a perfect end to a lovely afternoon✨

🎶✨ What a Joyful Afternoon Singalong at Croft! ✨🎶

We had a fantastic afternoon at our Croft singalong, filled with music, laughter, and plenty of dancing 💃🕺

A huge thank you to our fabulous Susan for the wonderful singing 🎤, our brilliant backing dancers, the amazing Croft team ladies, and our incredible crowd-hypers Cath and Darren who kept the energy high 🙌🎉

Our Croft residents truly stole the show with their amazing moves and smiles, it was wonderful to see everyone so engaged and having fun ❤️

Activities like this are so special on our nursing unit, helping to boost mood, encourage movement, support memory, and bring everyone together through the power of music 🎵✨ We finished the afternoon with prizes for all our residents, because everyone deserves to feel celebrated 🏆🎁

A huge thank you to Chelsey for the fantastic singing at our Astley Christmas Party 🎶🎤 you truly made the day extra special.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to our amazing families who came along to celebrate with us ❤️

The day was filled with pass the parcel, prizes, a delicious buffet, and great entertainment, plenty of smiles and festive cheer all around! 🎁🍽️🎄

Took our beautiful Dorothy, Helena and Enid, along with our lovely Fred and Denis, to Wigan Council’s Christmas Party today ❤️🎁

A huge thank you for the wonderful entertainment and delicious cake. 🎶🍰 The smiles, singing, and sparkle in the room made it a truly special afternoon.
It’s so lovely that Wigan Council brings together residents from different care homes across the area creating connection, community and Christmas cheer for everyone. ❤️🌟

Our Lilford residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon of tea and conversation, made even sweeter by celebrating a very special birthday! 🎂✨

A simple cuppa shared together can create the most meaningful moments. ☕❤️

These sessions encourage residents to open up, reminisce, share stories, and connect with one another. For those living with memory loss, gentle conversations can spark familiar feelings, bring comfort, and help strengthen social bonds. 🧡
It’s the little moments that make the biggest difference like laughter, memories, and warm company. 🌼

Our residents had a wonderful time getting into the Christmas spirit with card making and decorations in our arts & crafts session! 🎨🖍️

These creative activities aren’t just enjoyable, they’re incredibly meaningful for our residents living with dementia. 💛

Crafting helps spark memories, encourages conversation, boosts confidence, and provides a calming sense of purpose. It’s a beautiful way to stay connected, express creativity, and feel the joy of the season. 🎅💌

First, a massive congratulations to our amazing and caring carer Molly for winning Employee of the Month! 🎉💛 Your kindness, dedication, and bright smile make such a difference every single day. We’re so lucky to have you! 👏✨

And today we also say a warm and loving goodbye to our wonderful Mel 💐💖

She’s off to begin an exciting new chapter as a driving instructor 🚗💨 and we couldn’t be prouder! Thank you, Mel, for all the laughter, compassion, and joy you’ve shared with residents and staff. You’ll be truly missed, but we know you’ll be amazing in your new adventure! 🌈💛

Two of our wonderful residents had a gorgeous transformation this week, they both asked for a little Christmas makeover ✨ and to return to their natural ginger roots 🍁👩🧑‍🦰.

They’re absolutely glowing, and we’re so happy to help them feel like the best version of themselves 🌟❤️.

Mini makeovers are such a lovely idea to get to organised, they boost confidence, support self-expression, and create joyful moments that make residents feel truly special 💕💇‍♀️🎄.
