What a weekend!

Three days. Three funerals. Three completely different goodbyes.

Over the past few days, I’ve had the privilege of leading three very different services…
✨ A traditional crematorium service
✨ A deeply personal ceremony in a family home
✨ And a beautiful woodland burial surrounded by nature

Each one was right.
Each one was meaningful.
Each one reflected the person at the heart of it.

Because there is no “one way” to say goodbye.

Some families find comfort in tradition.
Some want something more relaxed and intimate.
Others choose nature, simplicity, and space to breathe.

What matters most isn’t where it happens…
…it’s that it feels right.

If you didn’t know you had these choices — you do. All you have to do is ask!

“What do we actually talk about in a family meeting?”🤍

It’s one of the first questions families ask before we meet to discuss the funeral service of a loved one.

And the answer is simply everything that matters.

When I meet families, we simply sit together and talk… about your loved one, about their life, about their personality, and the memories that make them them.

From there, I’ll gently guide you through the ceremony, shaping the order, choosing music, and including anything that feels right for you.

There’s no pressure. No rush.
Just a calm, supportive space to begin creating something truly personal.

A little trip out to beaconsfield today to GreenAcres Chiltern Park (living memorial ground). I’m always so taken aback at just how lovely these places are. As you look around the grounds and into the woods you wouldn’t actually know that people are buried here. Obviously the plaques, wooden benches and the like give it away - but everything just blends into the environment. You had to see it to believe it! Oh….. and Terry Wogan is buried here with his wife x
