Balanceability

🚲 Do you want to help build your child’s confidence on a bike? Then book on to one of our free Balanceability programmes!

Aimed at children aged 2½ to 5 years old, Balanceability teaches the skills needed to ride a bike without stabilisers, improves spatial awareness and dynamic balance!

These sessions use balance bikes, games, and fun challenges to make learning to ride a bike safe, enjoyable and effective, whilst providing opportunities for some quality time with your little one.

The network is about professionals and community groups working together, to help children, young people and families in Buckinghamshire.

👀 Look out for the Family Hub Network sign to access the support you need, whether in the family centres, education settings, community spaces or online!

Today is the start of Children’s Mental Health Week. For our CYP Team has produced children’s book activity sheets for families. It can be challenging to talk about emotions and wellbeing. We’ve made these parent and child activity sheets to help families to have these conversations. They’re based on popular children’s books that can be found in local libraries. Please click here to download the activity sheets.

❤️ Relationships and sexual health
💡 Life stuff — whatever’s on your mind

We’re not here to judge — just to help.

The Theme for this year’s is “This is My Place”. 1 in 5 children experience mental health challenges, but creating environments where they feel like they belong can significantly help improve their wellbeing.
