Never a easy thing with me! Seriously Alfie hope you and your dad see this. You dad had the most epic hair tash combo.Magestic! There was another guy but I did get his name it was all a bit quick.

Plus I was trying to fins the bush I dashed my helmet in 😂😂.

Emma hope you are feeling better today. From the scars on your arms you have been fight the the war with your mind for a long time. Keep fighting.

So Shed Heeran's ride home from the Midlands yesterday was interupted by physically stopping someone jumping from a foot bridge onto dual carriageway.

Riding along he saw them clinging to outside of the bridge dangling off. He pulled off the next junction, ditched his bike and ran up to help.

This post isn't about a "look at him". It is about the ethos of the The Campfire Collective. It has and always will be about helping our fellow human, whether we know each other or not.

In the excitment Shed forgot to pass the page details to the other legends that stopped and helped, so they could come to the woods and enjoy some nature and have a party to celebrate saving a life!

So Alfie and his dad, and everyone else who came to aid or if you know anyone who was th. Please get in touch and come along. Please share the post so it might reach them.

Emma, if you get to see this, I am sorry you are going through what you are. Believe me more than one of the collective have been where you are. More than one of us have friends and family that have made that choice.

We can't tell you what the answer on the other side is. They never answer when we ask. You may not think people care about you, but strangers came running when you were in need. You are loved more than you will ever know.

Don't seek a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

To the people that were walking and running passed somone hanging off a bridge when I got there. How? Why?

The RN Veterans MCC have been a supporter of The Campfire Collective since it's conception.

Last year they spent the year rasing money for us and there is LITERALLY nothing we can do to thank them!

Keep an eye out for improvments made from their donations that will help homeless veterans and others that use the space.

In the meantime if you have nothing on 3-5 July and want a family friendly Rally and the best Rum Bar in Britain get your to the Rumconcious Rally!

The winter is passing and it is nearly that time of year again!

Who will be joining The Campfire Collective for our second annual Great Tommy Sleep Out!

28 March 2026 we will be getting together in the woods to spend the night experiencing what hundreds of homeless veterans experience every night.

So if you are supporting the RBLI by completing the GTSO, not come a do it with us.

Sorry for how quite the page has been.

Rest assured we have been working away IRL.

Cat Whitmore has got us almost to the point being a registered charity, while also setting up her own business Woodland Warriors. We cannot thank her enough for her work. Keep an eye our forces our charity number announcement!

We held our second annual Rememberance service. Last year we had 3 veterans. This year we had 5.

Fantastic support as always from Jesters MC Bedfordshire, RN Veterans MCC, and neighbors in Gayhurst Wood.

It was amazing to see Sean Carroll, especially as he had to book time off work to attend!

With the help of Johanna Hrycak he has been housed, got himself into employment AND started mentoring other veterans. We couldnt be prouder of him!

Cannot thank RN Veterans MCC for coming and supporting us. The path to the memorial tree is much clearer. We will get the rest cleared at the October works party. Nice a clear for Rememberance weekend! Who's in?

This is why the The Campfire Collective and Dandelion Therapeutic Support were made to work together, before they even existed. We hope this flare up passes quickly Lydia and hope to see you in the woods soon.

This is a little insight into why Dandelion is so nurturing.

This is me- it’s not a photo of a shattered, overworked, stressed founder……..

Looks can be deceiving.

I am in fact mid-flare up; I have Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and the slightest thing can knock my system. Despite all the steps I already have in place, it’s sometimes just not enough.

This week it’s been the rapid changes with the weather.

The marrow in every bone aches, and the fatigue is therefore well and truely kicking in….and I know I need to succumb to the sofa and pause…..put the work aside and just be.

I’m not looking for sympathy, instead I am making awareness of why we care so deeply in looking after our team and our families.

Home-work balance really matters.
Our families matter.
You matter.
I matter.

Enjoy the bank holiday weekend and half term. Do what’s right for you! X

Apologies all for the quiet period, as we go through Shed Heeran transition to "Civ Div" we have ALOT going on. The 30 WORKING day wait for payout doesn't help...

Rest assured we are still working hard towards the aims.

We are extremely close to being a registered charity!

Cat Whitmore has gone full "Boss Bitch" and is slowly taking over the Forrest School universe!

We hope you are all getting out in this amazing weather, just getting outdoors is good for you. "Go touch grass" as the kids say.

We have a few things planned for summer, including a visit by the RN Veterans MCC! So if you want to come a drink like a sailor, let us know.

Anyone wanting to come down to the woods in the meantime, just give us a shout.

We’re sending a huge round of applause to our amazing RBLI team member Hayley, who took the plunge - literally - with a 12,000ft skydive to raise funds for our charity! 🪂💙

Her bravery and fundraising spirit have left us all in awe. Hayley, we’re incredibly proud of you. What an inspiration! 🙌
