I'm delighted to say that we have a venue for home birth group meet ups in Leighton Buzzard, and we start this month!

Friday 23rd January, 1.30 - 2.30 pm, at The Rocci Tree. Free to attend.

For people who have had home births, who are planning home births, or who are curious to learn and have questions.

Practitioners welcome. Please share with your clients.

Supported by myself and experienced home birth midwife Nicola Your Independent Midwife.

I love home births. I had four of my five at home. And I've been at loads as a doula. So pleased to be able to support and encourage people having home births in the area.

Nicola and I are also planning home birth meet ups in Ampthill/Toddington/Houghton Regis area, so watch this space.

Just the kind of message I like to see on a Monday morning! This gentleman was injured and building back up to a big run, a combination of massage and K- tape has done the trick.

I am so sad today to have learnt of the passing of one of my clients. I have seen this gentleman pretty much every week for 12 years and it has made me realise what a deep sense of connection I feel with my clients. It is a privilege and a joy that people trust me with their bodies and their pain. I hope that I helped to ease any pain and suffering for him over the last little while. Hold your loved ones tight everyone and remember that each day is precious.

Scar massage can have a great effect on scars which are indented and puckered. This is the difference from just one treatment.

Nothing like a commute to South London during a tube strike to remind me why I'm self employed! At least I got a seat on my very expensive train. Sending strength to those of you that do this every day. Also, see pic 2 for a handy reminder of life priorities!

Great day yesterday working with this lovely team of therapists from Restore Scar Therapy and Dans Fund For Burns giving scar therapy treatments to burn survivors. I finished the day exhausted but happy to be doing my bit to get the word out about scar therapy! So many people don't know that there is help out there for problematic scar tissue and just put up with pain and discomfort. If you know anyone struggling with scars of any kind please pass on my details or get them to look up the restore directory to find a therapist in their area.
