NOTE (I’m not in Toronto as suggested in the title! Somehow Facebook has done that! The SOS Africa charity is actually based in Somerset and South Africa)!
Morning everyone, how are all my friends here and keeping safe in lockdown I hope.
I’ve been taking part on virtual races with virtual runner, cycling, skipping, studying, playing guitar, volunteering and the weekly lbac zoom pub quizzes! Which I’ll hope you like to check out soon!
But I wanted to share with you a little something. In the last month or so I have been working and conversing back and fourth with a beautiful and caring and passionate grassroots charity called SOS Africa🇿🇦. Two little children that I’ve grown fond of, called Eli who’s 6, and Mari-Lee who’s 10 years old needed a sponsor to help them fund their education, provide food, a school uniform and safe journey to school. Eli has no mother, and Mari-Lee has no father. They live in poverty whilst both families struggle to provide for their children. Both are from beautiful part of South Africa called West Cape, Elgin. We know how it feels like to be given that chance in life both after and during our struggles, so I’m excited to share, follow, and keep up on learning how well these beautiful children progress in life. I hope to share photos and how well they’re doing soon.
Have a lovely week ahead. X
