First Contact Physiotherapy

with musculoskeletal (MSK) problems.

FCP’s are trained to assess and diagnose patients with routine and complex MSK problems which can include:

Arthritis
Problems with muscles, ligaments, tendons, or bones
Spinal problems -lower back/neck pain
Spinal related pain in arms or legs, including nervous symptoms

They can give advice, guidance, and self-management. As well as tailored rehabilitation

If the FCP feels you need a follow up treatment, this can be arranged by your FCP or your Practice.

First Contact Physio’s requests can be made through your Practice eConsult service or directly with Health Connections, telephone number 01525 300780.

First Contact Physio appointments are carried at the Leighton Buzzard Health Centre in Bassett Road which is managed by Leighton-Linslade Health Connections.
