You'll know about ECHO’s Steps to Employment Project (StEP), the National Lottery Community Fund supported programme that builds on the success of ECHO's previous Inclusive Volunteering Project.

What you might not know is that StEP has it's own page, with lots of news and updates about volunteering with ECHO. Are you following StEP's page? No? The team would love you to support the project bydoing just that.

Here's what to do: log in to your Facebook profile. In the search bar (top left) type in, 'Steps to Employment Project' and click follow!

Aim of the StEP:
The StEP supports individuals as volunteers in ECHO projects, and in addition identifies volunteering, work experience and employment opportunities outside of ECHO for a diverse range of beneficiaries. This includes ECHO participants, our supported volunteers and people from local communities who have a disability.

By following their page you will be helping to spread the word!

Many thanks

Don't forget, ECHO has been selected as a charity in the Tesco Stronger Starts scheme! 💙

You still have until the 30th September to support ECHO every time you shop at Tesco Tenbury by dropping a blue token into our voting pot. But don't leave it until the last minute, why not do it this week - it’s a simple way to make a big difference!

🛒 So if you or anyone you know shops at the Tenbury Tesco, please help spread the word and support our cause.

Every token counts — thank you for helping us make a stronger start! 🙌

ECHO & lockdown

At ECHO we have carried on providing a service to all our members during the lockdown. We might not be able to meet in person but staff and volunteers have worked hard to find alternative ways to keep everyone connected and entertained. There have been hundreds of welfare calls and regular check-ins to make sure no one is left feeling isolated or without support. We have put together lesson packs so people can carry on with adult learning courses and kept the fun going with activity parcels delivered to homes. Other ideas moved online with videos, chats and coffee mornings so we could see each other. It has meant a lot of changes in a short space of time but our message was clear - ECHO is here for you.
