Liv Creative Minds Herefordshire came and made some plaster candle holders and tree decorations.....just waiting for them to dry so we can enjoy painting them!

Cupcakes! Thank you to Josh, our new volunteer who came over one Saturday to help residents make and decorate, and enjoy eating lots of cupcakes.

We hope that you all had a good weekend. We enjoyed a great show on Bonfire night curtesy of Emlyn patiently running around setting them off whilst we sat and enjoyed our hot dog and hot chocolate although it was quite dramatic at times!

We had a wonderful Autumn Feast on Friday evening.
We created some autumnal decorations, the residents dressed up, Ewan came to play the piano and the kitchen produced a delicious seasonal three course meal served by all the staff. It was very special and much appreciated.

👏 At West Eaton:
Emlyn Hughes, our talented Chef, was a finalist in the Great British Care Awards for Chef of the Year.
Rachel Eardley, our wonderful Lifestyle and Wellbeing (LAW), was a finalist in the West Midlands Care Association Awards for Activity Co-ordinator of the Year.

👏 Our colleagues at Newstead Nursing Home also had an amazing showing, with four team members named as finalists:
Ali Ough – Finalist for Outstanding Contribution to Social Care Award
Gail White – Finalist for the Activity Organiser Award
Miha Halastauan & Zoli Gidofalvi – Finalists for the Ancillary Worker Award
