Happy International Men’s Day! 🎉

Today we are celebrating all the amazing men in our lives.

The teachers, the leaders, the ones who know who they are and the ones still figuring it out, the Dads on the school run, the Dads at work, the ones who are there when we need them, the ones who make us laugh and smile, the ones who keep the infrastructure running while we are fast asleep.

From early childhood boys are less likely to receive affection and care than girls.
Boys are often taught to ‘man up’ and hide their feelings.

Research has found that boys can connect emotionally with others at a very deep level, we just have to make it safe for them to do so.

As adults, men are more likely to hide their mental health struggles, and men are three times more likely to take their own lives.

Today reach out to a man you care about and let him know what you appreciate about him, let him know you are there for him if he ever needs to talk 💜
