At Mortimer Homecare we are proud to assist the people in our local community to stay living independently in their own homes for longer. We are a family-owned and operated company with a strong track record and a passionate desire to make a difference in the lives of the people who use our services. One of the things we really value is the fact that everyone is different. We know that your health

and home care needs are unique to you and you alone. So you can rest assured that we’ll work with you, your family, carer, doctor and other healthcare providers to deliver exactly the care you need. From the moment we meet you, we will talk with you and listen to you. This helps us understand what it is that you want to achieve, and how we can help you achieve it. We will work with you to develop a care plan, based on the things you know you need and your personal goals, to help you be as independent as you can be. We’ll support your decisions about your care, including your right to accept, change or decline care. And, we’ll always remember that we’re guests in your home. We fully believe in an ENABLEMENT ethos. Our role is to support and encourage individuals to achieve agreed, realistic objectives to live as independently as possible in their own homes. We encourage our staff to embrace enablement and help people to regain some of the skills they may have lost because of poor health or impairment. Services Available;

Mortimer Homecare provides personal care services on an ad hoc and ongoing basis to adults requiring care or support to live at home. A broad range of services can be provided to meet your needs. These may include:
¥ assistance with eating
¥ bathing/shower assistance
¥ going to the toilet
¥ grooming
¥ dressing
¥ getting in and out of bed
¥ moving about the house
