🎄✨ Festive High Tea at 3 and You’re Invited! ✨🎄

We’re spreading some Christmas cheer this December at Caring Homes! On Wednesday 3 December, friends, family and our local community are warmly invited to join us for a very special Festive Afternoon Tea at 3. 💜☕

Our much-loved tea trolley will be getting a seasonal makeover, filled with delicious homemade treats for everyone to enjoy, including:

🍰 Eggnog cupcakes
🍪 Gingerbread cookies (perfect for decorating!)
🍫 Chocolate yule log
🍒 Traditional Christmas cake
🥧 Mince pies galore

It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with loved ones, enjoy a cup of tea and share in the festive spirit with our residents and team. 💫

What a lovely day we have had 🥰
Celebrating a birthday 🎂 with cake and Prosecco 🍾🍷 to a fireworks 🎆 themed lunch menu was
Starter- Roast pumpkin 🎃 soup
Main- Bangers with mash mushy peas with onion gravy yummy 😋
Pudding- Toffee apple crumble with custard

We then sat and watched the fireworks display on the tv why popping party poopers 🥰

A fantastic Halloween 🎃 👻 for our residents and family , from great costumes to brilliant entertainment from the King himself. 🕺🕺
A really fun filled and engaging day for our residents.

As it was National Apple day 🍎, well-being team went scrapping on the ground of Guysfield, as you can see from the pictures
We have turned them in to scrumptious apple pie 🥧 which we enjoyed making and eating at supper time yum yum 🥰

Today is Spanish day 🇪🇸
We celebrated by having a Spanish 🇪🇸 theme lunch with homemade Sangria 🍹🍹 which everyone enjoyed very much 🙂
Lunch was enjoyed by all 🥰
starter - we had Pure Hortelano a Spanish vegetable soup with spinach, leek, onion and bread crumbs
Main - was a choice of two options , Albondigas a Spanish style meatballs or Paella 🥘
Dessert - was a yummy Crema Catalana a Spanish custard dessert with creamy texture topped with caramelised sugar 🍮🍮

So today as it Mental Health Awareness day we sat having a discussion about how it affects people in different ways.
And how whenever we feel low knowing there is always someone to talk to as talking about our feelings can help. 🥰
