Charlotte Poynter holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy, with experience in treating high level and elite athletes as well as general sporting population and those who don't participate in sport. Emily Field holds a MSc in sports rehabilitation her role involves taking injured people back to active tasks or sports. Jake Coombe holds a Masters in Osteopathy, he works with all populations sporting or not to aid pain and recovery from injury.

Have you got shoulder pain? 🦾

Shoulder pain can be caused by all sorts of reasons from falls, trips, sports injuries, overuse or sometimes seemingly no reason!

Common symptoms we hear people complain of are:
🧥Pain when putting on a jacket
🛌Pain when sleeping on the affected shoulder
🙋Pain on lifting hand overhead 🙋‍♀️

Start your week right with a Monday morning small group class! 💪

Our small group classes are run by a degree qualified physio or sports therapist.
They are designed for those new to resistance exercise, returning to exercise or with underlying health conditions or injuries.
We use them to promote resistance exercise (vital for healthy ageing), balance, stability and mobility.
Exercises can be adapted as needed by the therapist in the room to suit any ailments.
The therapist will coach technique to ensure a low injury risk.
A 60mins class is £12.50 with a maximum of 5 people per class.

We run a number of small group classes through the week! 🗓️

Have you rolled an ankle?
Got Achilles tendinopathy?
Or maybe don’t know what’s causing your foot and ankle pain?

Come and see us! We will take a thorough history of your complaint, assess the foot, ankle and perhaps even the knee and hip, to get to the root of your injury or issue. From there we’ll provide any hands on treatment and take you through a home exercise programme to strengthen and/or mobilise the areas that need to be targeted based on our assessment and offer education and advice to help you manage the recovery of your injury!

Our initial consultations are 60 minute appointments, this is to ensure that you are able to explain exactly what’s going on for you and we as practitioners have the opportunity to fully understand and assess your condition.
Our follow ups are 45 minutes. This ensures that we have adequate time to check in on your progress, treat and set new rehabilitation to keep you progressing.

💆‍♀️Sports massage 💆‍♂️ is a great tool to add into your training plans. Relax and be treated by a degree qualified therapist, sports massage may reduce pain and aches associated with exercise, reduces fatigues, increases relaxation and may help to reduce picking up niggles as your therapist will provide aftercare such as stretching or some strength exercises.

Alternatively contact us about a strength programme specific to you to be added into your running programme to reduce injury risk and increase your running speed! 💪
