Our lovely Willow Dementia Group have been busy lately - and just look at what they’ve created!

From arts and crafts and poetry to gentle exercises, quizzes, and plenty of sing-alongs, there’s always something uplifting happening in our sessions. The little popsicle-stick cottage in the photo was made by one of our brilliant group members - how wonderful is that?

If you know someone who’d enjoy good company, creative activities, and a warm cuppa in a friendly space, we’d love to welcome them.

➡️ Join us at the Willow Dementia Group - Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 10am–3pm.

Pop us a message or call 0330 2000 103 to find out more. 💚

Today is , and we want to shine a light on the everyday kindness of our HILS teams across all our services - from meals on wheels to our Community Hubs, from our Community Advocates, to our Health & Wellbeing services and beyond.

Every lunch delivered, every friendly chat at the hub, every phone-call or visit makes a difference. Kindness is the little things that build safety, connection and independence for the people we support. Our teams take the time to get to know our clients, and in turn are able to offer those little extras that can help make someone's day. Whether its remembering they were heading to their grandsons birthday party last time we saw them, asking how their roses are coming along in the garden, or even remembering that they don't like their peas touching their potatoes on the plate!

To our teams: thank you. For turning up, for listening, for caring. You are the heart of HILS.

And to our friends, supporters and local neighbourhoods: you too play a part in this ripple of kindness. Share a smile, say hello, hold the door, check in on someone today. It all matters.

Let’s keep spreading kindness - because together, we make our community a brighter place.
