👩‍🤝‍👩🏽 It’s International Women’s Day on 08 March, so we’d like to take the time to celebrate our founder, the woman who made our 60+ years of selling first aid supplies possible!

For those of you who don’t know our history, Safety First Aid Group was founded by Barbara Froomberg in 1959. The company has come a long way since then, and is now a second generation, family-run business with quality, customer service and sustainability firmly embedded at the heart of everything we do. 💖

❤ February is Heart Month ❤

Workplaces should ensure they are prepared for cardiac emergencies by providing staff with an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and arranging CPR training. This is important because:

❤ The chance of someone surviving a cardiac arrest increases significantly if an AED is used within the first few minutes.
❤ For every minute that someone doesn’t receive CPR and defibrillation, their chances decrease by 10%!
❤ 5% of out of hospital cardiac arrests happen at work.
