There’s nothing quite like a little self-care to brighten the day

Our residents recently enjoyed a much-loved nail pamper session, a popular activity that brought plenty of smiles, relaxation and lovely conversation 🌸

From choosing colours to enjoying a gentle pamper, it was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to unwind and feel their best. A big thank you to our amazing colleagues for making the experience so special!

Scottie, the husband of one of our much‑loved former residents, still pops in to say hello, a testament to the lasting connections made here

Scottie brought his guitar along and spent time playing music alongside our resident Phyllp, filling the home with joy, conversation and familiar melodies 🎸✨

Moments like these remind us just how powerful music and relationships can be, creating a sense of community, comfort and happiness for everyone involved

A lovely gentle stroll along the beach in the morning, enjoying the fresh sea air and calming sound of the waves.

The visit was made even more meaningful with a video call to family in Zimbabwe, sharing smiles, laughter and precious moments together 📱

🦆💛 A Proud Moment for Our Residents 💛🦆

Some of our residents were delighted to receive their certificates this week in recognition of the wonderful care they’ve shown while looking after our ducks 🏅

Although we were sad to say goodbye, it was comforting to know they are heading off to a lovely new home where they can enjoy plenty of space to explore and run free. It’s been such a rewarding experience, filled with smiles, responsibility, and lots of happy moments along the way.

Our colleagues were proud to support residents throughout this journey, celebrating their kindness and dedication every step of the way

🎭 Fun and Games All Round! 🎭

There was lots of fun and laughter as residents and colleagues enjoyed a game of Minute to Win It, with the challenge of seeing just how many wigs one person could put on in a minute

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, sharing smiles, and cheering each other on throughout the game. We were especially pleased that our liaison nurse joined in with the fun, helping to make the activity even more enjoyable 🎉

Activities like this are a great way to encourage connection, laughter, and shared enjoyment, a brilliant time had by all 💫
